Job Overview:
We are seeking a **Senior Cloud Architect** to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and highly reliable cloud architecture across multiple cloud platforms, with a strategic focus on **Azure**. You will be instrumental in driving the organization’s transition to a **multi-cloud** environment, primarily working across **GCP, AWS,** and **Azure**. This role will also involve automating cloud infrastructure using **Infrastructure as Code (IaaC)**, implementing **CI/CD pipelines**, and ensuring seamless integration between on-premise systems and cloud environments.
As part of an **established cloud team** of 5, with plans to grow to 6, you will play a critical role in leading cloud strategy, architecture decisions, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Cloud Strategy & Architecture:
– Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud architecture across **GCP, AWS**, and **Azure**, with Azure as the primary cloud for deployments.
– Define and drive the organization’s **multi-cloud** strategy, ensuring reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Cloud Infrastructure & Services Management:
– Manage and maintain a hybrid infrastructure model integrating **on-prem** and **cloud services**.
– Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud services.
Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaaC):
– Implement and maintain **Terraform** for Infrastructure as Code, enabling reproducible and efficient cloud deployments.
– Develop and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** for seamless integration and deployment of cloud services.
Cloud Security & Governance
– Establish and enforce best practices for cloud security, governance, and compliance.
– Continuously monitor cloud infrastructure for optimization opportunities, security risks, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Cloud Architect with hands-on expertise across **GCP, AWS**, and **Azure**.
– Strong knowledge and practical experience with **Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)**.
– Proficiency in building and managing **CI/CD pipelines**.
– Experience managing hybrid **on-prem and cloud** infrastructure.
– Demonstrated ability to lead and scale cloud engineering teams.
– Strong understanding of cloud security, performance tuning, and cost management.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
– Certifications in **Azure, AWS,** or **GCP** cloud architecture.
– Experience with containerization technologies such as **Kubernetes** or **Docker**.
– Familiarity with **DevOps practices** and tools for cloud management.
