Matt began his recruitment career in 2010 and transitioned to IT/Technology recruitment in 2012. Since then, he has built a highly successful career across various specialisations within the IT/Technology sector, an industry he has been passionate about for over 12 years.

Matt’s primary focus has been on permanent placements, both within the UK and across Europe. He prides himself on his ability to establish effective and successful relationships with candidates and clients, ensuring that he matches the right people with the ideal employers, and delivering the best talent in the market for his customers.

Matt is skilled at building rapport with a wide range of individuals, from C-level executives to delivery teams and on-site engineers. His extensive experience and expertise span across the technology space, with a core focus on SAP, Cloud, DevOps, Software Engineering, and Infrastructure. He has supported a multitude of industry sectors throughout his career.

Matt’s approach is consultative rather than pushy. He takes the time to understand the needs of both candidates and clients, allowing him to partner with them effectively and provide valuable advice on how to achieve their goals. This approach has helped him build lasting relationships with satisfied candidates and clients.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys working on DIY projects around his house. He is also an avid rower, often engaging in open water rowing. Additionally, he loves taking beach walks with his two cockapoos, Poppy and Mr. Pickles.
