Roles and Responsibilties
-Manage and optimise the lifecycle of IT equipment from initial procurement and distribution, to reclaiming and deploying newer devices
-Ensure rigorous adherence to timelines for shop openings by coordinating effectively with other departments and the IT Nomad Manager
-Assist the Senior UK IT Logistics & RMA Technician in improving our technical processes and automating where possible
-Working with our IT Sourcing Specialist to build/manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to support logistics and equipment lifecycle management
-Oversee the preparation and shipping of IT equipment, ensuring it meets compliance of our company standards and store opening timelines
-Develop strategic plans to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve service delivery in IT Logistics and RMA operations
-Lead our global IT Logistics & RMA functions, including hiring, training and mentoring staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
-Visit our international IT outposts periodically to standardise our processes, support our teams and build efficiencies into our international workflows
-Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure all incoming and outgoing equipment meets our high standards
-Implement and build key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT Logistics & RMA activities and providing regular updates to senior management
-Owning the process of logging all shipments, deliveries and repairs for our records and to be shared with Accounts
-Oversee escalated technical issues and complex troubleshooting within the IT Logistics & RMA team
-Facilitate team meetings and workshops to ensure IT Logistics & RMA strategies align with the broader Technical Services objectives
-Oversee the configuration and maintenance of all IT equipment in the Watford Warehouse/Support Centre.
