Head of Product- Tax and Treasury

Hybrid position

£130,000 + upto 45% bonus

About the Role

As the Head of Product for Tax and Treasury, you will be responsible for the strategic positioning and continuous improvement of Tax and Treasury products. You will lead a team of Product Managers, ensuring the delivery of high-value products and features that meet the needs of customers and stakeholders. This role involves close collaboration with senior members across Finance, Tax, and Treasury to drive efficiencies and innovation in financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

-Define the vision, goals, objectives, and key strategies for the Tax and Treasury product area.

-Drive continuous improvement and innovation to ensure products align with evolving business needs.

Product Development

-Oversee the development and delivery of Tax and Treasury products to ensure efficiency and alignment with business goals.

Collaboration

-Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Finance, Tax, and Treasury.

-Partner closely with engineering and data teams to deliver integrated solutions.

-Work with Finance Change Programmes to drive the successful delivery of Tax and Treasury projects.

Performance Management

-Establish and track key performance metrics.

-Use dashboards and data to communicate the status of key measures and ensure alignment with business goals.

Team Leadership

-Build and nurture a high-performing team of Product Managers.

-Empower and develop the team to continually deliver value and drive product success.

Risk Management

-Identify and mitigate risks associated with Tax and Treasury products.

-Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Market Research & Innovation

-Conduct market research to understand business needs and industry trends.

-Leverage insights to influence product outcomes and strategic goals.

-Stay up to date with technological advancements and incorporate relevant innovations into the product roadmap.

What You’ll Need

-Expertise in Treasury Management Systems, with experience in a leading platform (preferably Openlink Findur).

-Familiarity with data analytics tools, such as Alteryx, and understanding when to implement them in business processes.

-Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working closely with Finance, Tax, or Treasury teams to understand their requirements.

-Deep understanding of the product management lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and delivering incremental improvements for business growth.

-Proven ability to influence teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business and technology OKRs.

-Strategic mindset, with the ability to develop and communicate a clear product roadmap to senior stakeholders.

-Strong business acumen, including knowledge of key commercial drivers, business metrics, and performance indicators.

-Leadership capabilities, driving vision and strategy discussions across business and technology teams.

-Understanding of large-scale data platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and security for financial data management.
