An Investment Bank in Central London are looking to expand their Data Office Team with a temporary Test SME who has experience working on large scale Data Migration projects.
This person will be responsible for supporting and executing with the testing phase of data migration projects to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data. This role demands extensive experience in data migration execution, data migration testing, data management, and a deep understanding of banking systems.
You will be working through a full lifecycle of Discovery, Definition, Design, Development, Test, Deployment, and optimisation.
The Test role will contribute and support to establish the bank’s Data Migration framework to support multiple requests for movement and transfer of data between systems.
Core experience required:
o Data Migration execution and Testing
o The use of any Data Migration Test tools – Data gaps ETL Validator, Testing Xperts, Tx tools, Dextrus, Azure Document DB, Beyond compare, Informix, Integrate.io, Excel
o Rule writing and testing
o Working with Large and Small Data
o Data Management
* Principles of Data Testing, Data Governance and Data Quality
* Data Remediation
* Data Security and Handling within a Bank.
* Documentation and Requirements Gathering
* The Ability to solve problems, develop options and champion change
* The ability to identify, manage and maintain Risk (RAID) Logs
