Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Portfolio Office Analyst to support the effective delivery of IT change across the organisation. You will ensure strong governance, accurate reporting, and high-quality portfolio insights that enable informed decision-making at all levels.

Working within a multi-skilled PMO environment, you will support project and portfolio delivery through planning, analysis, risk management, financial tracking, and tool management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate portfolio and project data to provide clear visibility of progress across all change initiatives
  • Analyse and present insights that support prioritisation, planning, and delivery performance
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, and blockers impacting delivery timelines or outcomes
  • Support project financial management including raising POs, invoice tracking, and reconciliation activities
  • Administer and enhance the PPM tool (KeyedIn), ensuring quality and adoption across delivery teams
  • Produce standard reporting packs, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis for senior leadership and governance forums
  • Provide core PMO support including planning, governance, assurance, RAIDs management, decision-support and change control
  • Contribute to the improvement and embedding of project delivery processes, tools, and standards
  • Deliver training, guidance and first-line support to stakeholders on PMO processes and tools

Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience working in a fast-paced PMO or Portfolio Office (18 months+)
  • Strong understanding of PMO services and project delivery lifecycles
  • Demonstrable experience working with portfolio/project management tools – ideally KeyedIn
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent organisation and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident supporting financial reporting and project budget oversight
  • Experience presenting information clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies
