Cyber Security Lead/Manager – PLEASE NOTE – Outsourced SOC experience is essential for this position.
Overview
As the Cyber Security Lead/Manager, you will manage IT cyber capabilities, ensuring the security of systems, overseeing service suppliers, and leading incident response activities. You will collaborate with industry partners and regulators to safeguard infrastructure while driving continuous improvement in the organization’s cyber security posture.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead day-to-day cyber operations, supplier management, and secure development practices.
– Own and manage security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing resolutions.
– Provide expert consultancy on cyber security regulations (e.g., GDPR, NIS, PCI-DSS).
– Drive continuous improvement initiatives across threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security processes.
– Influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders, industry partners, and government agencies.
– Manage Security Operations Center (SOC) activities and coordinate with third-party vendors for enhanced monitoring and protection.
Qualifications
– Proven experience managing cyber security in a multi-vendor environment.
– Must have SOC experience, including managing 3rd party services and vendors.
– Expertise in security technologies (SIEM, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, etc.).
– Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO27001, PCI-DSS).
– Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.).
– Excellent communication, leadership, and risk management skills.
