Business Analyst – Corporate IT (Global Education Services)

We are now seeking a Business Analyst to join the Global IT Planning & Architecture team, helping shape technology solutions that drive operational excellence and future growth.
What You’ll Do
As a Business Analyst, you will translate business needs into functional solutions that improve and streamline operations. Key responsibilities include:
✅ Partnering with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document requirements
✅ Supporting agile delivery through backlog refinement and sprint planning
✅ Reviewing and improving processes to deliver best-practice outcomes
✅ Preparing user stories, technical documentation, and process maps
✅ Collaborating closely with product, engineering, QA, and support teams
✅ Assisting with solution prototypes, testing readiness, and issue resolution
✅ Contributing to standardised documentation and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven Business Analyst experience within an IT environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Ability to work independently, manage workload, and meet deadlines
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Commerce, Engineering, or similar
- Competent with Microsoft Office and Visio
- Basic understanding of SQL and database structures
- Analytical, proactive, and solution-focused
Desirable
- Experience within the education sector
- Familiarity with Jira or similar IT work management tools
- PRINCE2 Foundation, PMP, or equivalent certification
- Knowledge of BPMN or EPC process modelling
- Awareness of IT infrastructure, cloud services (Office 365, AWS), and delivery frameworks
